Hello ladies and Gentleman!
So I’m sure there will be multiple versions of New years resolutions out there, focusing on multiple goals at once. I was one of the many, but this year I’m going to try to take a different approach to that. This year I am going to focus on ME. Yes, I’ve decided to create the most self centered goal possible.
Don’t start Criticizing just yet. I’m fully aware a lot of peoples New Year goal is about themselves, but don’t be to down on our world! Jeez….. Lots of people focus goals on others and what they can do for their friends, family, community, ect.
I however am not that person. Sorry guys. My goal is to focus on what I enjoy about ME not what I think OTHERS enjoy about me. To find something (more specifically a sport) that I can work hard in and have a sense of TEAM. To APPRECIATE all my friends who are always there for me and SHOW them that with unnecessary gifts. And because i have troubles seeing what I’m doing and showing that I am making progress in my life and not floating through, I will try to log it on here more. So you guys get the lovely surprise of reading about things I go through and how I over came obstacles that are probably pretty common…
Last but certainly not least I want to focus more on GOD yes you read that. GOD. Now the first thing that a lot of people are going to think when they read this is “OMG shes a Christian and she’s talking about God,….nothing to see here.” and your gonna get your backpack and blast off to look at all those photos on Tumblr that you’re going to look at for two seconds but then scroll on.
WARNING MAJOR DRAMATIZATION HAPPENING IN THE NEXT PARAGRAPH
BUT I CHALLENGE YOU to stop and think about this. If you are not religious or Christian. Why do you get so offended when Christians want to share their faith with you ( in a non-converting way*)? Everyone will sit and listen to people carry on about JERSEY SHORE, THAT TOP that they saw in the store, their OPINION on music, that ROCK they saw a few minutes ago, or about how they LOVE LAMP. But when I say I LOVE GOD your red flags fly up and you start up with ” whoa man settle down, I don’t believe in anything and I don’t need your religion man I’m Atheist.”
ALRIGHT, that’s great you don’t beleive in nothing, I’d ask you more about it but whats left to really talk about… bud dum tiss* FINE no more bad jokes, but next time someone wants to talk to you about their religion at least show a little interest you showed for the Jersey shore crew, the conversations can be enlightening whether you agree or not and they just want to share something that is important to them. A lot of the time when I want to share my thoughts based on my religion I end up listening to someone talk about how no one respects the fact they don’t want to join and why they don’t beleive in it…
Clever way to dodge that bullet,I know that was a close call having to listen to anyone’s opinion on a religion other than yours.Thanks man kind.
BUT WHAT ARE YOU SCARED OF??? why is it so hard to just listen to someones opinion without shooting it down right away, just because Its religious.
PS I have a strong suspicion that stereotypes have greatly influenced this automatic offensive approach to peoples religions

PPS this is my opinion and I apologize for offending anyone with it, maybe you can message me and tell me about why you don’t want to hear it and how yours is better? JOKES! But I do like hearing from you guys and your opinions and any questions you may have!
